POOL PADDLING - IMPROVE STROKE TECHNIQUE
Join our winter training activities and be ready for Spring Paddling.
- Coached Pool Paddling at YMCA downtown.
- Tuesday and Thursday Evening
- Begin Nov 05. 6:30-7:30PM
- Last Pool Session April 2nd.
- Sessions will focus on technical skills lead by an experienced coach.
Note: Although fitness is important the WRCC pool sessions focus on skill development. We encourage paddlers to maintain fitness on their own or to gather with other paddlers for physical sessions (see additional opportunities below). Multiple disciples are welcome (Sprint or Marathon Canoe-Kayak, DB, OC)

SATURDAY MORNING RUNS
We encourage paddlers to visit www.parkrun.ca and join in the FREE weekly 5km Walk/Jog/Run at the lake. Meet at 9AM each Saturday by the broad street bridge.
SATURDAY 1PM CONDITIONING at WRCC
We have set aside time in the Canada Games Room for members to use the fitness equipment. This includes 2 kayak ergometers, 2 canoe and 1 dragon boat ergometer.
SUNDAY PADDLERS SPIN - 1PM at the Downtown YMCA, open to any paddler.

We are now gathering interest in Florida training camps:
--> Dragon Boat April 5-11th
--> Sprint Canoe-Kayak & OC April 11-18th.
