Welcome Back!
Did you try our Learn-To-Paddle camp last year and love it? Would you like to continue to grow in the sport of canoe/kayak with our club? This is the program for you!
Ages: U10-U13
The regatta ready group is for paddlers who have been through one of our learn-to-paddle programs and feel the drive to take their skills to the next level! We use fun and games to make their skill-building and training an enjoyable process, all while building lifelong friendships with the other athletes around the club.
Athletes in this group should be involved in other activities on non-training schedule days in the spring and fall. The primary objective of this group is fundamental movement/sport skill development while developing and understanding canoe/kayak workout design and boat skills. Athletes in this group are expected to compete at all qualified divisional events, as well as all events and club activities as outlined by the coaching staff.

Work commitments help benefit the Club in many ways. The funds generated help to purchase new equipment, pay bills and staff. Working these commitments helps us keep our program costs lower for you. They are also a great way for parents to learn more about the Club and what happens down at the boathouse. It’s amazing how many friendships are forged at Bingo!
The other great part of working commitments is the ability to generate money in your Travel Account. Once work commitments are completed, additional fundraising monies go to your travel account. Taking advantage of all opportunities to build up the Travel Account can have an enormous impact on the athlete’s financial ability to fully participate in the competitive season.

Note: The price at checkout will include a 3.5% surcharge for credit card fees, if you to pay by E-Transfer send a payment of $550.00. E-Transfers can be sent to: wrcc_treasurer@yahoo.ca
