Fitness paddling sessions are designed to offer paddlers the opportunity to combine a fantastic core workout with basic to advanced kayak drills, techniques in a social environment. Your instructor will paddling along with you to easily show you the moves.

Each session delivers a structured workout program offering low-impact training with high-impact results. Looking for an alternative to being in the gym? This program is geared for you!  

WRCC is offering blocks of 4 sessions.

  • Session 1 - (May 29,31; June 5,7) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 2 - (June 12,14; 19,21) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 3 - (June 26,28; July 3,5) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 4 - (July 10,12; 17,19) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 5 - (July 24,26; 31,Aug 2) Tue & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 6 - (Aug 7,9; 14,16) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 7 - (Aug 21,23; 28,30) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM
  • Session 8 - (Sep 4,7; 11,15) Tues & Thurs 6:15-7:30PM

Note: A minimum of 2 paddlers will be required to run a session.  If the session does not run your session will be refunded or can be applied to another session booking.

Equipment:

Participants will be able to use their own boats, paddles, and PFD/lifejackets or those provided by the Club.  Fitness Paddling sessions use the FOCUS 15 Touring Kayak and for 2018 WRCC has 6 new boats.  Be one of the first to enjoy them.
